ROOFING ADVICE
A leaking roof: find the cause first.
The place where water appears indoors is a starting point—not always the point where it entered.

Give us the clues.
Tell us when the leak happens, where it appears and whether wind or heavy rain makes it worse. Existing photos and a history of previous repairs help us plan an assessment.
Look beyond the drip.
An inspection may cover fixings, sheet joints, flashings around skylights and walls, and drainage paths. Water can travel before it becomes visible inside, so sealing the nearest joint may miss the source.
Define the repair.
We need to understand the condition of the surrounding materials as well as the entry point. Ask what will be repaired, why that work is recommended and how the result will be checked. Widespread deterioration may warrant a separate conversation about replacement.
Take photos only from somewhere safe. You do not need to climb onto the roof to make an enquiry. If water is near electrical fittings, keep clear and get urgent professional assistance.
Let’s check what your roof needs.
Tell us what you have noticed. You can add photos to your enquiry.
